21-year-old Woman Jumps to Phalguni River
Mangaluru: A young woman jumped into the Phalguni River at Gurupur here on August 3.
The woman has been identified as Yogini (21) from Matti, Kaikamba.
According to the police at around 4 pm. Yogini jumped into the river at Gurupur. A search operation assisted by the Bajpe police was on to find Yogini, Due to the darkness the operation was later suspended. The search operation will continue on August 4 morning.
The reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered in the Bajpe police station.
