Kundapur: In a shocking incident, a three month pregnant woman was found gang-raped and murdered at her house in a remote area near Gopadi here, on April 11.
The victim has been identified as Indra Mojaveera (30), wife of Anand Mojaveera.
The condition of the body reportedly hints that the woman was murdered after rape. It is suspected that after the rape, she was strangulated, tied with a heavy stone and thrown in a cow shed.
Indra is survived by her husband and three year-old son. The body has been sent to KMC Manipal for post-mortem.
