BJP Workers Arrested for Symbolic Rasta Roko against Roshan Baig

Mangaluru: The BJP workers were arrested by the police for blocking the road while protesting against Minister Roshan Baig for his derogatory comments against PM Narendra Modi at the PVS circle here on October 16.

Prior to the arrest addressing the protesters the district BJP president Sanjeev Matandoor said, “Narendra Modi is the Prime minister for the entire country and not only for BJP. The Prime minister should be respected by every citizen of the country. But the Congress party has some unethical persons in the cabinet. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should identify those immoral persons in the cabinet and sack them.”

Sanjeev Matandoor further said, “Today the BJP held a symbolic Rasta Roko all over the district against minister Roshan Baig for using expletive against Prime minister Narendra Modi. We demand the resignation of Roshan Baig. If CM Siddaramaiah will not sack Roshan Baig in the coming days we will intensify our protest. We urge the vehicle riders and drivers to co-operate with us during the one-hour rasta roko”.

Later all the protesters proceeded to block the road at PVS junction but were arrested by the police.
