Six Persons Arrested for Stealing Gold Jewellery Posing as Customer at Karkala

Karkala: The Karkala Police on Saturday, November 11, arrested six persons who were involved in the theft of jewellery from the showrooms of Abharan Jewellers at Karkala.
The arrested have been identified as Manjari Prashath Nagpure (37), Komal Vinod Rathod (35), Sandeep Raam Jadav (27), Prakash Lal Singh (60), Vidhya Prakash (50), Kalpana Kunal (27) all natives of Pune.
According to the police, an FIR was registered at the Karkala Town police station on a complaint by the owner of Abharan jewellery showroom in the area about the theft of jewellery worth Rs 3.15 lakh, on June 12 this year. The accused had come as customers to the showroom and stolen the jewellery. During interrogation, they also disclosed that they had stolen jewellery from the showroom. The accused also admitted that they had committed similar thefts in jewellery showrooms in Moodbidri.
The Police sized Rs 73000 worth gold, Rs 4 lakh worth Scorpio, 7 mobiles and cash Rs 26,907 from the accused.
Under the direction of Dr Sanjeev M Patil SP and Rishikesh Sonavane ASP Karkala, CPI Karkala Joy Antony, PSI Karkala Nanja Naik, PSI Crime Sankappa and others participated in the operation.

LAVISH PEOPLE AND WEAK LAW !! LAW OF THE LAND SHOULD BE CHANGED AND SENT THEM TO JAIL FOR YEARS !!
