Addressing the mediapersons, Suresh Kumar said that the state government is distributing palm oil and iodized salt at PDS outlets with CM Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao’s photographs on the packets. “In this connection, we have filed a petition with the Election Commission for investigation. The images of CM Siddaramaiah and Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies Dinesh Gundu Rao will influence the people to vote for Congress in the Gram Panchayat elections. Congress should not stoop such low level, by printing the CM’s and Dinesh Gundu Rao’s photographs on the packets. Even the Supreme Court had given a verdict that the political leaders do not have any rights to promote themselves in public programmes.”

He further said, “Congress MLC V S Ugrappa will file a case against me and H D Kumaraswamy for making the House Committee proceedings public. We both spoke about the demolition drive even before the House Committee report was furnished. The government has also failed in furnishing the relevant documents about lakes. I am ready to face any charges and even go to jail if I am wrong,” he said.

“The state government has failed in its rule because it has a no good minister in its cabinet. Home Minister K J George is a no good minister; being a home minister, his duty is to provide protection to the people. Recently, a few houses were demolished in Bengaluru. Home minister, K J George stated that the government is trying to bring a Bill to protect the rights of the economically weak section of the society and also of those who lost their houses in the demolition drive. Suresh Kumar further said, “As cigarette smoke is injurious to the health, like wise continuation of George as the Home Minister is dangerous to the welfare of the state”. In the Gram Panchayat elections, BJP candidates will surely win. On May 29, people will surely vote for the BJP candidates.”

He also said, “The Siddaramaiah government has completed two years of its ruling and someone asked me how would I rate the Congress. I replied that this government has received grace marks for both the years. If people will give grace marks this year too, Siddaramaiah’s government will pass the examinations.”

“In Dakshina Kannada, there are no Congress leaders, we can see only leaders who joined Congress. In the two years of ruling, the Congress government did not do anything for the state. Now, three more years are left for the Congress government to work for the development of the state. This is a wake up call for Siddaramaiah’s government,” he said.

Former BJP minister Suresh Kumar complained, “Home minister, K J George stated that the government is trying to bring a Bill to protect the rights of the economically weak section of the society and also of those who lost their houses in the demolition drive.”

What is wrong in Home Minister, K J George’s statement?

IS IT WRONG BECAUSE HE IS A CONGRESS MINISTER AND NOT BJP OR IS IT WRONG BECAUSE HE IS NOT A HINDU?
