Young Advocate from Mangaluru Dies in Road Mishap
Puttur: In a tragic road incident a young advocate died after the car which she was travelling crashed into KSRTC bus at Sampya here on March 31.
The deceased has been identified as Gayatri (23) from Bantwal.
According to the police, on March 31, at around 1:45 pm, the car bearing registration number KA 19 Z 2082 was being driven recklessly by the driver Yogish. When the car reached near Aryapu Sampya, it crashed into the oncoming KSRTC bus bearing number KA 19 F 2770.
It is learnt that the occupant of the car young advocate Gayatri was severely injured and rushed to the First Neuro hospital in Mangaluru. Gayatri failed to respond to treatment and breathed her last at 7:35 pm.
Negligence and the reckless driving by the car driver are said to be the reason for the accident. Kankanady police have registered a case.
How sad someone as young as Gayatri should meet with a head-on collision,
and pass away. May God rest her soul in peace.
From the successive photographs posted above, one cannot understand why this
lady was driving on the extreme right, on such a narrow road, when it is always safe to drive on the extreme left.
Richard – Did you read the report? It clearly says the car was being driven by a driver Yogish. Why are you putting the blame on victim?
