The Mangalore Toastmasters Club – 16th Installation Ceremony Held
Mangaluru: “Excellent communication is the key to success. Mangalore Toastmasters Club is the right platform to hone these skills”, said Ananth G Pai, the Director of Bharath Groups, Mangaluru. He was speaking as the chief guest on the occasion of the Installation Ceremony of the office bearers of the Mangalore Toastmasters Club, for the year 2018-19.
The programme was held on July 4, at Hotel BMS, Mangaluru. TM SujathaKotian, the Area Director administered the oath of office to the new team led by TM Sapna Shenoy. The team also consists of SAA Kavitha Kamath, Treasurer Dr. Sapna Ramaraj, Secretary Gayathri BJ, VP PR Sindhu Prabhu, VP M Shyam Prasad Hebbar and VP E Yvonil D’Souza.
The programme began with the rendition of a prayer song by TM Chandra Shekhar Palekar and IPP Shariq Ali welcomed the gathering. The newsletter “DREAMS” was unveiled by TM Sukanya Rao, the Chief Editor and DTM C K Ballal. The report of the year was presented by TM Sindhu Prabhu. TM Anitha Cordero conferred the best “Toast Master of the Year” award, which was shared by TM Mareena Seema Sequeira and TM Yvonil D’Souza.
The new office bearers were installed by TM Sujatha Kotian. TM Sapna Shenoy, the incoming president sought the cooperation of all the members to fulfill 15 special goals of the club. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by TM Gayathri.
TM Divyashree Gatti and TM Melroy D’Souza compered the programme.
