MP Nalin and Shobha Spoiled the Beauty of DK – Prof Radhakrishna
Mangaluru: Our Dakshina Kannada was very beautiful and is a unique place in the country. But MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and MP Shobha Karandlaje have spoiled the beauty of this district. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in the name of Kateel Durgaparameshwari is delivering speeches and inciting the youth. Shobha Karandlaje is good in screaming, instead of inspiring she is instigating the youth”, alleged the Vice president of KPCC and the Chairman of Media department Prof Radhakrishna in a press meet held at the DCC Office Mallikatta here on September 17.
Addressing the mediapersons Prof Radhakrishna said, “South Canara is an inspiring land in the entire country. This is an education hub with medical, banking etc and people from various states come here to pursue their education. But now the environment in DK has changed because of two MPs of DK. These two MPs are instigating the youth to indulge in violence with their speeches. Shobha Karandlaje is good in screaming and MP Nalin always starts his speech in the name of Kateel Durgaparameshwari Devi. Dakshina Kannada is famous for Entrepreneurship but now we find unemployment in the district. People are hesitant to come to DK to start their business.”
Prof Radhakrishna further said, “The BJP is spreading rumours that the coalition government will fall soon. But it was decided on May 12, before the results were announced that we will form the government with JD(S). BJP is creating confusion by spreading propaganda about the coalition government. The coalition government will surely complete five years of its tenure”.
Prof Radhakrishna also said, “I wish Prime Minister Modi on his birthday and hope that he will bring Acche Din with his slogan Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas because he came to power with this slogan. In four years of his rule he has not brought any Acche Din, but before he completes his tenure of five years we will surely get Acche din as people are waiting for the Acche din and I am one among them. Now the price for Petrol and diesel has been drastically hiked. Diesel is vital for transportation in the country. When UPA was in power the fuel price in the international market was $138 per barrel but in 2014 it came down to $34. The UPA government had given Rs 1.38 lakh crore subsidy but the BJP made it a big issue. The Modi government has brought acche din by hiking the price for petrol and diesel.”
“There is a specific cess for the development of Bengaluru will be utilized to develop Bengaluru. The state government had increased the price to waive the loan of farmers. But yesterday in a meeting the CM has decided to reduce the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 2. Even when we had increased the price of fuel, the price in Karnataka compared to other BJP ruled states was less. Jaitley says that we should not ask him about the hike in fuel prices but should ask the Saudi government about it. If Jaitley is the finance minister of Saudi we would have gone to Saudi and asked him. Nirmala Seetharaman says that HAL is not able to produce fighter jets. BJP is a party of name stealers, honour stealers, respect stealers, identity stealers and they also steal somebody’s achievement. Nirmala Seetharaman has insulted our scientists by giving such a statement. Jaitley should take a flight and go to Saudi and sign a MoU with the Saudi government to provide petrol at a cheaper price. BJP has started a factory of lies.”
