Ashraf Kalayi Murder, DC imposes Section 144 in 4 Taluks till June 27
Mangaluru: After the brutal murder of SDPI leader Ashraf Kalayi at Benjanapadav, the deputy commissioner has imposed Section 144 in Bantwal, Beltangady, Puttur and Sullia till June 27.
After the murder of Ashraf Kalayi, miscreants have pelted stones on bus and some houses in Benjanapadav. The police have also taken precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents in Benjanapadav and nearby Taluks.
As a precautionary measure, the Deputy Commissioner, as well as District Magistrate, has imposed section 144 in Bantwal, Beltangady, Puttur and Sullia till June 27.
