Bishop condoles Death of Shiroor Laxmivara Theertha Swamiji
Udupi: The Bishop of Udupi Diocese Dr Gerald Lobo condoled the death of Shiroor Swamiji Sri Laxmivara Theertha, who died at the Manipal Hospital on July 19 at 8:30 am.
Bishop Dr Gerald said, “The death of Shiroor Swamiji is a shocking news. Shiroor Swamiji was a very devoted person and was fighting for the rights of the people. He was an upright man and had won the hearts of the people. The multi-talented Swamiji had developed a good relationship with the leaders from all other faiths. He had done a lot of work for the welfare of the people.”
Bishop further said, “On behalf of the Udupi Diocese, I pray for the soul of Shiroor Swamiji Laxmivara Theertha, may he rest in peace.”
