BJP National President Amit Shah Gets Rousing Welcome at MIA
Mangaluru: The national president of BJP Amit Shah got a rousing welcome at the Mangaluru International Airport on October 3.
Amit Shah arrived at the airport at 1:20 am on October 3. His flight was supposed to land in Mangaluru airport on October 2 at 6:00 pm but was delayed for 7 hours. BJP leaders from Dakshina Kannada, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor, Krishna J Palemar, former minister Nagaraj Shetty, MLA S Angara, former MLA Mallika Prasad, Kerala BJP leaders Muralidhar, Krishnadas, Surendran and others welcomed Amith Shah at the Mangaluru International airport.
The media did not get an opportunity to interact with the BJP National President since there was tight security at the airport. Police officials were also deployed on the Highway to Kerala.
Amit Shah later proceeded to Kerala to attend various programmes. He will be back in Mangaluru on October 3 evening Amit Shah will return to Mangaluru. On October 4, at 10:00 pm he will meet the party leaders and in the evening will address the party workers at Dr TMA Pai convention hall.
