Club Owner Murder Case, One more Arrested – All Four sent to Police Custody Till Aug 2
Udupi: The District police have arrested one more person who was absconding in connection with the murder case of the recreation club owner Guruprasad Bhat.
The arrested has been identified as Ranjith Pinto from Kallianpur.
On Monday the district police produced all the four accused before the district additional Civil Court. All the four were remanded to police custody until August 2.
Guruprasad Bhat was stabbed repeatedly by the accused, who fled the crime scene immediately. Bhat was rushed to the KMC hospital but succumbed to injuries.
It is said that Bhat was involved in finance business a few years ago, which is assumed to be the reason for his murder. He had also started a local newspaper ‘Satya News’ a few years ago.
