Deepak Murder, BJP South Block holds Rasta Roko, arrested

Mangaluru: The members of the BJP South Block staged a protest in connection with the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Deepak Rao at the PVS circle here on January 4.

Deepak was hacked to death on January 3 in Katipalla.

On January 4, the police took the body of Deepak to Katipalla to hand it over to his family but the BJP and the Sangh Parivar refused to receive the body.

On January 4 the BJP South Block staged a protest and blocked the PVS junction raising slogans against the state government. The Pandeshwar and Bundar police arrested all the protesters.
