Fire in Bhatkal – Mangaluru KSRTC’s Volvo bus, no injuries
Udupi: A Volvo bus operated by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), caught fire on Thursday, October 19.
The KSRTC Volvo bus which was on its way from Bhatkal to Mangaluru as it reached Udupi city the public noticed the fire on the rear side, engine compartment and alerted the driver. The “minor fire” in the engine compartment was doused by the locals and the passengers before the fire tenders reached the spot.
No one was injured in the incident, The reason for the fire is not yet known said KSRTC sources.
