Heera Int’l School to host ‘Lumiere-A Global Panorama’
With a Motto- “DARE TO DREAM….LEARN TO EXCEL” Heera International School-Shakthinagar, Mangaluru, a Sister concern of City Hospital Charitable Trust will organize “LUMIERE- A Global Panorama, an Inter-School Literary and Cultural Competition on 25th and 26th November 2016 at the School Premises.
Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club on 23 November, Dr Roshan Shetty- Correspondent and Trustee of Heera International School, Shakthinagar, Mangaluru said, “The aim of the meet is to focus on our newly launched CBSE School Heera International, Managed by: Nandavan Education Trust(R), and also a sister Concern of City Hospital Charitable Trust(R) at Shakthinagar, Mangalore, wherein the mainstream learning goes hand in hand with social, philosophical and traditional learning, exploring holistic educational avenues for schooling. Based on the concept of integrated learning we focus on integrating indigenous knowledge systems, ecological sensitivity and social connectivity through many innovations.”

Also speaking during the press meet, Janet Thomas, the Administrator of the school said “Lumiere- A Global Panorama, an inter-school literary and cultural competition is one of the new initiatives of Heera International School organized on 25th and 26th November 2016 to enable a good rapport with the schools and to encourage and motivate the hidden talents of the students. We believe that this programme will form a base for the students to go and compete in various other events at higher levels. School has planned to organize LUMIERE every year to provide a platform for young talents. A total of 8 events are planned, like Fancy dress, Drawing,Collage making, Best Out of Waste, Declamation, Essay Writing, Elocution and Folk dance.
