Yes I have competed in pageants before but not at this level. This is a new experience and needed a total different style of preparation.

Q: How did modeling happen to you? So when was this first opportunity that came across?

I was always a stage person. It seems I was presented on stage when I was 6 months old for a baby show contest, and I guess from there it went on. My first individual presence on stage was at the age of 3 and I won. After that there was no looking back.

Shopping of course which didn’t cause much pain other than the pinch in the pocket … the rest like diet, gym training, talent round preparation all were too stressful. I feel this recognition and words of encouragement is a success by itself.

I guess my confidence.. non stop smile and versatility with different streams of talent made me stand out.

Lots of patience; Ability to multi task; and Believe in yourself.

Q: What is your style inspiration? What is your favorite item in your closet?

Anything comfortable and apt for the occasion. Generally it’s a pair of jeans and a comfortable T

Simply Overwhelmed. They are happy that I am still pursuing my dreams even now.

Q: I am sure that your family is such a huge support to you and your journey to become “Haut Monde Mrs India worldwide 2017″? Was there any particular thing a family member has said that has inspired you to go this far?

Yes, of course my daughter was my motivation-when I got my selection I was a little reluctant, it was her who said “Mom go for something you hood at “. She very rarely appreciates anything .. so this had meant a lot to me.

Q: How would you define your personal style? What do you see when you look in the mirror?.

I look at a very confident yet a very sensitive person in the mirror.

Q: From where you stand right now how does life look?

Life always feels that the grass is greener on the other side. But I am very happy just lying down on my bed of roses with slight thorns around. That’s life, isn’t it?

Q: What would be your greatest achievement that will make you feel your life was a huge success?

If I can manage my passion … that’s professional life and keep a balanced strike with my personal family life, which is very difficult by itself- it could consider it a great achievement

Q: Okay, later in the years in case if you were to choose from films and modeling, what would you choose?

ha ha ha … Films of course !

Q: If you could high-five anyone in the world who would it be and why?

Very difficult to choose one …. I would rather wave my hands around to a bunch of people who have influenced my life in one way or other

Q: Being a mom to two children, how do you manage to take part in various contests and other co-curricular activities”

100% credits to my parents. Husband working abroad and me with unknown timings, my parents have been there to support me and literally take care of their daughter and grand children as well ..

Q: Being a beautiful woman yourself, who would you consider as the most beautiful woman, and why?

Beauty not measured by looks or by deeds. It’s some special feature in each one at different times. I believe every woman is beautiful . just make it worth while.

Q: What can we expect next from Soujanya Hegde? What are your hopes in the semi-final selections in Vietnam?

My eyes are towards the crown .. so the semis are not an issue. But really a strong contest to fight. Lets hope for the best.
