Kumble Sundar Rao Inaugurates BJP Election Office

Mangaluru: Former MLA Kumble Sundar Rao inaugurated the BJP election office at Bunts Hostel here on April 19.

The programme began with an invocation.  District BJP General Secretary Kishore Rai welcomed the gathering.

Addressing the gathering former MLA Rukmayya Poojary said, “After the Congress came to power in the state the law and order situation has collapsed. CM Siddaramaiah is dividing the society in the name of religion. But after Modi becomes the prime minister there is all-round development in the country. Roads have been developed in Karnataka with central government funds. The Congress party organised the Sadhana Yatra and wasted a lot of money which is a loss for the treasury.”

Rukmayya Poojary further said, “Wherever Siddaramaiah contests the elections he will not win. Senior Congress leaders including Dr Parameshwar and DK Shivakumar want to see Siddaramaiah lose the elections. We want Yeddyurappa to be the Chief Minister of Karnataka. In the forthcoming elections, BJP will win 100% and come to power.”

In his inaugural speech, Kumble Sundar Rao said, “Everyone speaks of U T Khader and all want to defeat him. I had delivered a speech in Ullal and said Looti Khader instead of U T Khader and had to attend the court for the case. The Congress is a looters party, I have worked for BJP since my childhood. We have worked hard for the party and many have worked for the success of the party. Many are now ready to cast their vote for BJP but still, we should go to them and ask for their precious votes. Harikrishna Bantwal has joined BJP and he will bring other members to the party.”

Addressing the gathering MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “We have inaugurated the Election office today by lighting the lamp which symbolizes the elimination of darkness bringing light. There is criticism when the elections are nearing but we should remember that BJP is far ahead. The election process already started from Sullia, Narendra Modi has come thrice to Dakshina Kannada, even Amit Shah has visited our district. Through the Parivarthana yatra, we have reached every house. The first phase of the campaign has completed. In every house, people have decided to vote for the BJP. “

MP Nalin further said, “We have completed the list of candidates in 5 constituencies, the names of the candidates in the other three constituencies will be released today. There is no confusion or differences in the BJP. The party workers are united and they are preparing for the forthcoming elections. Today, there is confusion in the minds of only those who are busy in WhatsApp and Facebook. Our party workers have decided to bring BJP to power in Karnataka. BJP is ready to face the elections and we have taken it as a challenge. We have elders like Sundar Rao and Rukmayya Poojary and with their blessings, we will win the elections. We are sure that we will win in all the constituencies and come to power. Under the able direction of PM Narendra Modi, Karnataka state should grow and we have to make it a Congress-free state. Senior Congress leader Harikrishna Bantwal has already joined the BJP, let the nominations of Congress complete, all the Congress party workers will join BJP and after the elections, only Ramanath Rai will remain in the Congress.”

Former MLC Monappa Bhandary, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Somanath, Sulochana G K Bhat, Kerala State Secretary Surendran, Vedavyas Kamath and others were also present.

District Secretary Namitha Shyam delivered the vote of thanks. Ravishankar Mijar compered the programme.
