Kundapur: MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty received extortion calls on May 26 for the second consecutive day.
Haladi Srinivas Shetty speaking to mangalorean.com said that he had received the calls at around 12.30 pm. On May 26, he received two calls from the same number. However, today the first call was attended by his friend who spoke to the person on the line in Hindi. The police security that was put up at the MLA’s house stopped the MLA from taking the second call.
Superintendent of Police Annamalai also visited Haladi’s house on May 26.
