Mangaluru : David D’Souza, aged 63, the current president of People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) and proprietor of Diana Electricals passed away at a private hospital on Thursday night, 2 July 2015.
According to sources, David had gone to the Rural Police Station for some proceedings on a case on Thursday around 5pm-while he was at the station he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately rushed to Indiana hospital, where the doctors did their best to save his life, but unfortunately David D’souza breathed his last the same night. Further details will be updated about the cause of death, after post-mortem results.
David D’Souza leaves behind his wife and four daughters. Regarding funeral details- the cortege will leave residence, “Silver Shells Apartments”, Mother Theresa Road, Kankanady on Sunday 5th July 2015 at 3pm, followed by mass at 3.30pm at Milagres Church-Hampankatta.
