May imaginary God bless them for doing such a wonderful job. These volunteers are doing what our elected representatives have failed to do!! Looking at how mangaluru folks have continued with their bad habit of littering, I am not too optimistic about future. It’s really sad to see how these places in the heart of our city look like some place in reomte Africa!!! Oh well…

What do the single quotes stand for? And if you have read a tad, you know it is none other than some unknown confused Bajrangi called “original” who is in suspended animation (on account that – he is neither here NOR there) who calls me that! Who am I to break his bubble? 🙂 His happiness matters whole lot to me. Ya Ya…. I’m very selfish. I need him to be… Read more »

Mr. Praveen Pinto, I believe you were in Saudi Arabia? In which place in that hell, sorry for the bhool, I mean Saudi Arabia, you were put up? How was your experience. In the recent past I have read three books, namely Tinderbox by M.J. Akbar, A Land of Invisible Women by Dr. Qanta A. Ahmed and Amen: An Autobiography of a Nun by Sister Jesme, an ex-Carmelite nun. You should read the last book first to realise and appreciate the difficulties faced by junior nuns, the discrimination and the politics. I do not say that all nuns are bad,… Read more »
