Manjunath Arrested in Baliga Murder case

Mangaluru: In connection with the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga, a fifth accused has been arrested by the CCB police here, on May 29.

The arrested has been identified as K Manjunath Shenoy alias Manju (39), a resident of Mannagudde, Mangaluru.

Vinayak Baliga was killed by contract killers on March 21, at 2nd lane, behind Sterling Chamber, Kodialbail. Four of the accused are already in judicial custody. So far, the CCB police have arrested 5 of the accused including K Manjunath Shenoy alias Manju in the Baliga murder case.
It is alleged that Manjunath Shenoy was providing information as well as financial help to Naresh Shenoy, the main accused in Baliga murder case. Manjunath Shenoy is a photographer by profession.

The police have formed special investigative teams to arrest all the persons involved in the Baliga murder case. Search is on for the others involved in the murder.
