Mangaluru: Speaking to media persons during a press meet pertaining to Kannada Movie “MLA”, at the Mangalore Press Club, MLC and Ex-State Transport Minister in CM Siddaramaiah’s cabinet, H M Revanna said, ” I loved playing the role of Chief Minister for few minutes, and it felt good, that I will be on the silver screen, since I have never acted in any film before. I am sure this comedy film “MLA” will attract a huge audience and attain success. The director and producer have good experience in film industry, above all, the cast including Bigg Boss 4 Season winner Pratham will be an added asset to the movie. I wish the movie all success and big earnings”
No, if not in real life, Bigg Boss Season 4 winner Pratham has been titled as MLA, the abbreviation of the title MLA is “Mother promise Lekkake Sigadda Aasaami” during the first half of the movie, while post interval he plays the role of a real MLA. {Politician}. This is his second movie in Sandalwood as a hero after Devarantha Manushya. His directorial venture Dewarawane Bidu Guru is yet to hit screens. The title of the film also like that and Pratham has turned MLA in the film- that is in post interval.

As Pratham also hails from Chamarajanagara District the proximity with CM Siddu was easy to establish for the this Film. Mourya Manjunath, the Director of “MLA” has worked for nearly10 years in various capacities. This movie is a comedy entertainer with a base from Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa- and this has inspired so many people. For this present scenario with no exaggeration is stored in the camera by Krishna Sarathi. Venky Palugulla is the co-producer, and music is by Vikram Subramanya.
This Kannada movie has few faces from Tulu movie world, namely Ms Sonal Monteiro and Navven Padil. The other cast members are – Sparsha Rekha, Chandrakala Mohan, Kuri Pratap, Rajashekar, Bus Kumar, Navarasa Ramakrishna, Victory Vasu and Killer Venkatesh. Writer and Director Mourya Manjunath briefing about the movie said that “MLA” was shot fully in Karnataka, including Mangaluru, and the release date is planned in the month of July 2018.
