It was a real good treat for the people of Abu Dhabi. The Theme of the programme was "Unity In Diversity." In India we have different religions, different castes-creed, different cultures, different food habits and festivals, but the RHYTHM of the country is only ONE i.e. the rhythm of heart… the rhythm of love….the rhythm that touches the inner core of your being….. The rhythm that shows the way to God… These were the opening remarks of the well known personality Shree Soorya Krishnamurty of India.
The one and half hour music infusion was created by none other than the legend himself, Shree Soorya Krishnamurty. The main theme and the choreography with the blend of Carnatic, Hindustani and Western music was performed by three (two male and one female ) professional dancers. This created the hysteria among the people. The crowd could feel the love, affection and commitment of the artists towards the art. This was all well expressed through their dancing skills and facial expressions.

The Show was possible in UAE because of an ardent art lover and patron DR. B.R. Shetty, Chairman and Managing Director of NMC group of Companies who were the main sponsors of the show. The sound n light effect provided by Mr. Gopi Kamath was really fantastic. Another show will be held on the 15th November 2007 at Indian Consulate Auditorium Dubai at 8pm. There were no speeches or felicitation of sponsors, instead the entire time was utilized for the music and dance. At the end of the Show Dr. B.R. Shetty felicitated the artists. An Eight year old girl sitting right behind Dr. BR Shetty was expecting "Krishna ni Bhegane Bharo" to be played by the troupe. Dr. B. R Shetty requested the artist M.S. Lawanya to play this song on the saxophone for the little girl. This was the show stopper. The troupe is touring Europe next month starting with Germany. They will be performing in 20 different countries and is expecting to attract non Indian crowd as well. The show titled "Unity in diversity" was inaugurated by Mohan Lal in Singapore a few days back. Soorya- Festival of Performing Arts was established by Shree Soorya Krishna Murthy three decades back and they are performing in India and abroad since 1995.
