Goan Cultural Centre holds competitions

Kuwait November 18, 2009: The drawing competition organized by Goan Cultural Centre-Kuwait received a tremendous response from Indian students from several Indian school in which 360 students participated, held on 13 Nov. at the Carmel School. The results of the competition will be declared on 11th December 2009 and the prizes distribution held during the "Snowball with Pai Natal 2009" programme on 11 Dec. at Carmel School Auditorium.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The organizers thanked the principals, art teachers and management of all the Indian schools in Kuwait for supporting the students and encouraging the participants. Soft drinks and snacks were provided by the organizers courtesy of the event sponsors, Refreshment Trading Co. (Coca Cola) and KITCO (Kuwait Indo Trading Co). A genuine thanks note and appreciation was voiced for the  Kuwait's English dailies - Arab Times, Kuwait Times and The Times; web portals, Gulf-Goans e-Newsletter, Q8indya.com, www.goa-world.com, Goan/Indian associations, our sponsors and to the parents for the support and thanks to the management and principal of Carmel School-Kuwait.

Goan Cultural Centre-Kuwait is registered with the Embassy of India and enjoys wide support among the Indian community.  Members of Goan Cultural Centre has won laurels for the community work in Kuwait by Goa governmental and private entities, Kuwait’s social organizations, church elders, and have a good representation and support from the Goan and Indian organizations, both in Kuwait and overseas.
