Mangalore, November 19, 2009: The ambitious project of the Canara High School Association (CHSA) the prestigious Central Syllabus school was opened in a glittering function today held at the new campus of the school behind the T.V. Ramana Pai convention centre at Kodialbail.

Inaugurating the new campus Mr. T V Mohandas Pai, Director and Head, Infosys Technologies Ltd. Bangalore said that the school has come up in a grand manner and he hoped that the education imparted there would be helpful to the students who study here and help the community to grow citizens with high level of integrity and well informed students.

Mr Pai regretted that over 8.7 crore youths in the country were deprived of pursuing college education and only 12.4 per cent youth between the age group of 18-25 had the opportunity to join colleges, due to the poor financial background of their families.
