Kuwait November 26, 2009: Kala Mogui Kuwait (KMK), the prominent art & cultural organization staged “Goemcho Lok Mandd” on 20th November 2009 at Carmel School Kuwait as part of Goa Day 2009 celebration. The half hour befitting musical skit consists of thirty artistes presented in traditional way with songs, dance and play.
"Goemcho Lok Mandd" was skillfully enacted with a professional touch to a thunderous ovation by Aashna Manocha, Aditya Amonkar, Anjali Amonkar, Annabelle Pereira, Aparna Amonkar, Charmaine Vaz, Daliya Bandodkar, Dipti Nagvekar, Dragila Araujo, Glades D’Souza, Jitendra Amonkar, Kavita Dhavale, Kshitij Amonkar, Manoj Bandodkar, Maria Santos, Namdev Sawant, Prasad Amonkar, Prashant Nagvekar, Rupesh Naik, Sagar Sawant, Samantha Sequeira, Satish Dhavale, Simran Bandodkar, Sufala Amonkar, Sushil Amonkar, Tirtha Amonkar, Vasudev Amonkar, Vedhant Nagvekar and Vinay Naik with music by Philip Gracias.
Kala Mogui Kuwait is now in its 7th year of existence and has recently presented Prince Jacob's hit Konkani drama 'Zaiat Zage' with full cast in Kuwait to a capacity audience at the Daiya Fencing Club hall. In a major exercise for supporting GULAB - Goa's first coloured Konkani family magazine, three major events were organized by Kala Mogui Kuwait for the promotion of the Konkani language. A large number of talents were given an opportunity to perform and all events were held at the Carmel School auditorium under the leadership of Dominic Araujo.
