Doha February 27, 2010: The NRIs living in Qatar are gearing upto host the 2nd global summit which will be held in Qatar from March 12 to 13th March 2010 at Hotel Intercontinental. The theme for the summit will be strengthening Business ties between India and Qatar said Mr. MS. Bukari, Chairman of NRI Institute Qatar during a press conference held at Hotel Intercontinental today February 27, 2010.

The 2nd NRI global summit at Doha is being organized by NRI Institute Doha Chapter in Association with Indian Business & Professional Network (IBPN) an apex body under the aegis of Embassy of India, Qatar with all Indian Businessman, Professionals and presented by SATCO International Qatar.

The summit will be attended by Ministers from Govt of India, several prominent figures from India and abroad. The Cabinet Minister Mr. Farooq Abdulla has already confirmed his presence while several other dignitaries are also expected to join this International event. Around 35 to 40 delegates from around 20 countries will attend this event, Bukari said. HE Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, Indian Ambassador to Qatar will be inaugurating the summit and will also launch the NRI Institute Qatar Chapter.

On 13th March 2010 morning session, there will be an interactive seminar that will provide an incredible opportunity to meet and interact with high profile Indian businessman/Industrialist, Non Resident Indians and Persons of Indian Origin and also will be attended by Qatari VVIP, Qatar Businessman.

Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry will give the presentation showcasing Qatar as a land of Investment opportunity with ‘Open Policy’ in the first half and delegates from India and NRIs from other countries will showcase business opportunities in Inda in the second half of the session.

Azim Abbas, President of IBPN, Sanjev Kohli, Minister, Embassy of India, Nilangshu Dey, Convener, NRI Institute were present at the press conference and replied to the queries from the press personals.
