Kuwait, Feb 26: Kuwait witnessed one of the most impressive shows ever among the Mangalorean community on 25th February as Aloysian Alumni held its maiden full house show "Rendezvous 2006" at Safar Palace Hotel, Riggae. Sensational music, Exciting dance competitions and lots of fun & frolic were all part of the all night long show.

The show began at 10:00 pm. Compere of the evening Merwyn Periera welcomed all the guests. Numerous dance sessions were held with scintillating music provided by Kuwait's Best DJ’s "DJ Aryans" led by Bryan Lasrado, Kiran Rao & Kiran Sunny and "DJ Entertainers" led by Anand D'Souza and Claud Cutinho. Spectacular display of lighting along with Special Laser Lights really set the tone for the show. Stunning lighting was provided by "Illuminations" led by Anand D’Souza.

MC Merwyn introduced the newly elected office bearers of SACAA and invited them on the dais for installation ceremony. President Mr. Archie Menezes led the traditional lighting of the lamp. Oath taking ceremony of new office bearers was then held, which was conducted by senior member Mr. Francis D'Souza. Souvenir to mark the occasion was then released by senior alumni’s., followed by short message by the President. He highlighted the importance of SACAA Kuwait and the thanked everyone for the overwhelming support received so far.

While children enjoyed the game conducted by Felcita D'Souza adults and teenagers continued to dance to the non-stop music by DJ Entertainers and DJ Aryans. Most spectacular event of the evening was "Best Dressed Couple Pageant" conducted by MC Merwyn. Many enthusiastic guests took part in the event. While Mr. Mithun Soni won the coveted 'Best Dressed Male' award, Ms. Alvita D'Souza won 'Best Dressed Female'.

As dinner was announced at 1:30 am, live songs were performed by some members of the alumni. There were more exiting events to follow – Ballroom dance competition, Dance competition for youngsters and Novelty dance competition, with amazing response from everyone. The "Best Dancing Couple" award was bagged by Glen D’Souza & Crystal Noronha and runners-up were Ralph & Babitha Sequiera. Best Teenage Dancer awards were won by Diana Rodrigues and Sandeep. Jeevan Kumar won the Novelty Dance Competition.

Final dance session along with masala dance was held to the breathtaking tunes of DJ Entertainers.  The house full crowd never for a moment looked tired & out till the official closing was done at 5:30 am.

It was a wonderful presentation of professional show enjoyed every moment of it by one and all. Incredible music provided by DJ Entertainers & DJ Aryans and superb sound and   lighting provided by Anand D’Souza were highlights of the whole show. Aloysian Alumni in Kuwait took off in a great style with their first show and we are sure to witness more of this kind in coming days.
