MANGALORE, November 4, 2009: Former President of KPCC and Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Janardhana Poojary has termed the present political situation in Karnataka as a constitutional crisis and people should take decisive steps like asking the Governor to evoke article 356.

Addressing a press conference here today Mr. Poojary stated that the authority of state has been jeopardized by the BJP government to fulfill the commercial interests of the Reddys of Bellary, the state has withered away in the last 18 months, but only BJP's leadership and Reddys of Bellary have prospered.

He said Mr. Yeddyurappa had it coming as he was the person who allowed operation Kamala to be performed by the Reddy brothers, these three brothers, have wreaked havoc in democracy by using money power to defeat politicians of other parties to meet their own ends. He warned that the state was heading for Anarchy and there will be a time when Reddy brothers will usurp the entire coffers of Karnataka state and make it insolvent, not just financially but also morally and socially. There will be no virtues left in the administration he added.

Mr. Poojary said the people of Karnataka do not know where their elected government has gone, there is nobody to take care of the state a few functionaries of the government have gone to Andhra Pradesh where low standard people like Renukacharya was hiding with some rogue MLAs, few others were having fun in resorts of Goa and few more were in Delhi trying to lobby for their own groups. It was a shame who they are carrying on the affairs of the state.

Mr. Poojary said the Karnataka state government was on the death bed, and there was nobody who can give it treatment. I have no doubt that the government was suffering from a disease as grave as cancer, it is the price Mr.Yeddyurappa pays for trusting Reddy brothers.

Mr. Poojary said "Congress party will not take the blame of destabilizing the state’s administration, however we will not sit quiet, for a beginning the Congress party will organise the first protest meeting in Mangalore on 7 November which will "Expose" BJP and its power and money hunger politicians Mr.Poojary added.

I request Mr.Poojary to concentrate on mangalore based issues like road and railways... If at all Mr.Poojary, Oscarji and Moiliji combined together there will be no problem whatsoever to MANGALOREANS i believe.

Mr.Janardana Poojary may sound hollow sometimes. But remember he is one political leader against whom no corruption charge is made. He is sincere and outspoken. He will not care to express his opinion for good things and against all that is bad.

I Agree with Mr. shenoy Poojary must become chief minister of karnataka . He is only person to attack opposite party B.J.P at this time. Though he lost power he has a courage to unite all leaders & protest. I wish u best of luck DEAR SIR & Party workers to protest against govt. tomorow. Awake Arise untill your goal reached.

Dont forget Mr.Poojary has lost the election. He dosent have any powers now. My question is were is your illetrate BJP MP who ia representing Mangalore constiuency.
From 18 years useless BJP MPs & Mlas are getting elected in Mangalore.
A) Dhanajaya Kumar who won the elections four time in the name of vajpayee & he was the Finace Minister for state in his cabinet what he has done to Mangalore.
B)Since BJP came to known Dhanajaya Kumar is useless & he is going to loose the election he was replaced by a another useless leader Sadanada Gowda who knowns only to provoke people in the name of religion. Even he came to that he is going to loose the election he shifted to Udupi.
C) At present we have a another useless MP who dosent have the capacity to talk in the Parliment. If he wants to request any minister without the help of Dhanaja & Sadanada Gowda he cannot approach.

Now tell were are these leaders who are elected from Mangalore from past 18 years represents Mangalore in the Parliament are they talking about the train issue.

If Something goes right thanks to BJP Leaders.
If something goes wrong it is because of Janardhan Poojary & Cong.

Mr. Poojary is a good case study for political behaviour. The hyena is sensing the crumbs now. Why not, as suggested by Mr. Shenoy, he is immediately made the CM by dissolving the Karnataka Govt. (as suggested by Poojari). We will have no more the troubles of Reddy's, no more flood relief issues and above all no more of Poojari crying. Unfortunately for him, we have another case study for political behaviour called Deve Gowda/Kumarswamy Gowda which combination is also sensing the crumbs.
Jai Karnataka!

There you go, Mr.Poojary!!

You were silent when Kerala grabbed the Mlore-Blore train connection.
You were quiet when deobandi group issued a fatwa on singing 'Vande Mataram'!!
Kudpi Rajanikanth Shenoy, India Nov 4, 2009
I strongly feel that Mr. Poojary should be made CM of Karnataka.

Things will change miraculously after that!
