| Mangalore/Kuwait Dec 1: "Our Talent-help for the underprivileged" ...the dream of the United Mangaloreans Kuwait (U.M.K.) came into reality with a roaring success on Friday, 6th November 2009, with its maiden venture "Fun-filled Evening", presented to the house-full audience, at Indian Comminity Serior Girls School, Salmiya, Kuwait, comprising of melodious songs, foot tapping bollywood dances and a hilarious Tulu comedy drama "Mange Malpodchi".


As promised, after deducting unavaoidable expenses, by the overwhelming support from the sponsors & audience, even after the programme, the UMK has been able to contribute a sum of Rs. 4,14,000/- (Indian Rupees four lakhs and fourteen thousand) to "Sneha Sadan", help & care center for the PLHIV, situated at Gurpur, Mangalore, India.
The draft of the same is being handed-over to Rev. Fr. Siby Augustine of "Sneha Sadan" by UMK's members Purander, Victor Saldanha & Manoj Poojary on November 27, 2009.
Rev. Fr. Joy George (Director, Sneha Sadan) thanked and bestowed blessings on UMK and its geneours supporters.
Mr. Agnel Saldanha, leader of the UMK and all the members are gratefull to all the generous sponsors , wel-wishers & audience, who supported whole-heartedly, encouraged UMK's new faces, new talents, new artists, for the noble cause.
