Mangalore June 27, 2007: Mr. R. Hanumantha, Honorable Secretary of United Karnataka Chess Association has been appointed as Coach cum Manager by All India Chess Federation for the Girls Team participating in the International Norm Chess Tournaments being held at Spain from 25th June to 25th July 2007. 

Mr. Bharath Singh Chauhhan, honorable Treasurer of All India Chess Federation has been appointed as Coach cum Manager for the Boys team.

R. Hanumantha has represented LIC South Zone at the All India Level for the past 14 years. He was the runner up at the Bangkok Club Open Tournament 2007.
