Udupi Traffic Dept. must wake up and take stringent
action on those transporting students privately without
a legal permit from the RTO.

How can a Maruti Omni be allowed to transport 16 children.
Most of the transporters, whether school children in TATA
Mini Vans or Maruti Vans or Labourers in Tempo Travellers,
often overload much above and beyond the legal carrying
capacity, and are a direct cause of such disasters.

May God bless those tiny souls who lost their lives on account
of one stupid greedy transporter.

This IS NOT – CANNOT be God’s will. It is a result of human greed….of packing these kids like sardines in vehicles that are not meant to take more than a finite number. As parents we and they cannot believe something like this could happen us. Someone else ? Yes. But not us ! Government rules and regulations will be applied and enforced till the next tragedy. Then we are back to ‘square… Read more »

Very tragic and shocking. Watching videos and photos of tiny tots lying in pool of blood moved us. A small error on the part of driver killed innocent kids. May God rest their souls in peace. They died without their mistakes but small mistake of grown ups.
