Udupi: The Officials of the Forest Department trapped a leopard which had entered Ranganna Naik’s house at Janatha Colony Pernankila here on July 13.
On July 13, when Ranganna went to the shed to switch on the pump, he spotted a leopard which was hiding there. Immediately he locked the door from outside and informed the police.
The police then informed the forest department who arrived at the spot and succeeded in trapping the leopard. The leopard was then shifted to Pilikula Nisargadhama in Vamanjoor.
A big crowd of onlookers had also gathered at the spot to watch the operation to trap the leopard.
