ZP CEO Dr Ravi Flags off Election Awareness Vehicle ‘Nanna Matha Nanna Dhwani’
The special Election awareness vehicle “Nanna Matha Nanna Dhwani” which is to create awareness about the elections among the people was flagged off by the CEO of ZP Dr M R Ravi and Senior Civil Judge Mallanna Gowda.
After flagging off the special Election awareness vehicle “Nanna Matha Nanna Dhwani”, addressing the media persons Dr M R Ravi said, “The District administration has taken several measures to create awareness among the people about the elections. In Mangaluru we have started a vehicle Jatha to bring awareness among the people about voting. Eminent persons will request the people to go to their respective booths in their constituency and cast their valuable votes. Announcements about voting will be done through this Jatha.”
The vehicle will tour in three constituencies to bring awareness, priority will be given to the constituency in which fewer votes were cast during the 2013 elections.
Senior Civil Judge Mallanna Gowda, MCC Commissioner Mohammed Nazir and others were also present.
