Nalini Kumar does not seem to realise the damage caused to BJP by Eshwarappa and Yeddy. These party spoilers should not be allowed to participate in the assembly polls. Some one with a better image such as Praha Josh should be asked to lead for assembley polls. As things stand it is Cong I which will win the assembley polls. I am not sure how useful is S M Krishna.
Today, I happened to follow on the Youtube the ten most corrupt politicians in India and the names make an interesting read and four or five of them are from Congress, including the fellow who used to blink like an owl and chirp like a sparrow. The other fellow is considered as Sardar of Corruption, though presently not in the Congress, and just yesterday, the Indian Express was interviewing him and he was telling Shekhar Gupta about the pluses and minuses of both Narendra Modi. When I saw this interview I had a mighty laugh, because it was like a… Read more »
Though, I am not well-versed with the Karnataka politics, I know that Yeddyurappa has a very bad image. In 2007, he had been to Bahrain with a retinue and one guy in his entourage, whose name I cannot recollect looked like a Charlie Chaplain. Oh, his birdie was also there and from the print media, I saw her pictures laughing and grinning like a Cheshire cat. I did not go to see him, but there were quite a lot of Mangaloreans and other pseudo-social workers (who always fight for honours and awards), present to felicitate him. I consider most Indian… Read more »
Mr. Drona,
Mr. S.M. Krishna is in his eighties and should have stuck up with Congress or retired to spend time with his family members and friends.
I was surprised that he quit Congress to join BJP and the latter accepted him, though he has been over-the-hill and is a spent-force. Netas are a strange species. Whatever decisions they take are not based on right or wrong or black and white, but with ulterior motives or for party unity or image.
Dear Drona,
Since last eight months, I have not contributed to EYT due to compelling reasons. However, I do not see any write-ups from Original R. Pai, Advocate B.N. Pai from Kumbla and Mathew from States. Do you know anything?
Dear Mr Lewis, Nice to see you again with full force. I am not sure about Mr B N Pai as I have not seen any unabashed Cong I sycophancy of late on this forum. As far as A S Matthew is concerned I think he contributes rarely especially when BJP manages to lose some election unexpectedly or loses some seats in an unknown muncipality. Regarding Mr Original Pai, I understand he is engrossed in seeking nothing but truth. Regarding Praveen, he must be busy collecting water as Mangalore taps have run dry even though Mayor Kavitha Sanil wants Mangaloreans… Read more »
Dear Mr. Drona, Nice to hear from you and your communication has been at length and has given me snippets of information about various personalities. Many, many thanks. Any information on Mr. Alfred J. Rebello, who used to come with arguments that were preposterous, out-of-this-world and amateurship? I used to enjoy Arnab Goswami’s programmes at 09.00 and 10.00 p.m., because he would lampoon panelists regardless of their position and stature. Another knowledgeable person is Mr. Maroof Raza, the Defence Analyst and ex-Major in the Army. It appears that Mr. Goswami speaks to students of journalism annually at a famous institution… Read more »
Dear Drona,
I was wrong about Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. Today, I will not trust this bloke as far as I can sneeze. I heard an interview by a senior official in the I.T. department, who painted a very bad picture about him. It appears that just before he stood for elections in 2013, he had gone abroad to collect funds and attend weird meetings. I do not know how true it is, but all this is there on the Youtube. That is why he makes irresponsible statements on Jammu & Kashmir, rumpus created by students at JNU and DU, etc.
