106 Lessons/26 badges of ‘Google Digital Unlocked’ by Lad Aaron Barboza Wins Him Merit
Mangaluru: Following close on its heels, after Moosa Fazil- a first year BBA student of St. Aloysius College {Autonomous}, Mangaluru, and Graphic Designer -CEO of Fazil’s Creations, was certified by ‘Google’ after successfully completing “The Online Marketing Fundamentals qualification”, after he had completed 106 lessons , unlocked 26 Badges of ‘Google’ Digital Unlocked- and later after appearing for the final exam of Google Digital Unlocked, passed the exam and received certification from Google- here we have yet another teenager named Aaron Barboza, son of Walter and Sunitha Barboza, hailing from Moodubelle, near Udupi, having passed the exam from Google, and has received the course completion Certificate from Google.
A student of St Lawrence English Medium School-Moodubelle, and presently doing his II nd PUC at St Lawrence PU College Moodubelle (EBAC’s), Aaron completed 106 lessons unlocked and 26 batches of “Google Digital Unlocked”. The google digital unlocked course has 23 modules covering wide range of subjects from marketing fundamentals, SEO, Social media, Mega tags, Web hosting, Server, E-commerce, Analytics, Geo-tagging, etc. Aaron who is an ardent YouTuber is all set to create Videos relating to Technology
As the digital marketing landscape continues to grow at a rapid pace, marketers are faced with new challenges and opportunities within this digital age. The Digital Marketing Course is an initiative designed to educate students and professors in the area of Digital Marketing. “Digital Unlocked” is an initiative by Google in collaboration with the Indian School of Business and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to promote digital awareness and to help small scale businesses and start ups to go digital in India.
It was announced and launched by Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai during his visit to India in January 2017. Digital Unlocked is a training program for small and medium businesses in India. The programme is built across the different formats of online, offline and mobile. The Digital Unlocked’s offline training is being conducted in partnership with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Indian School of Business.
The topics which are covered in the program, a few of them are: The online opportunity; First steps in online success; Build your web presence; Connect through email; Get started with search; Get discovered with search; Be noticed with search ads; Improve your search campaigns; Get started and find success with analytics; Get noticed locally; Help people nearby find you online; Get noticed with social media; Deep dive into social media; Discover the possibilities of mobile; Make mobile work for you; Advertise on other websites; Expand internationally; Build your online; Plan your online business strategy; and Get started with content marketing; and Turn data into insights.
The training program allows the users to set their own goals and then recommends the courses which will help them achieve their own set goals. After completing the goals, or in-between, the users can also choose to complete and learn other courses which are of interest to them. The courses cover a wide range of topics from using the opportunities which the digital media and world have to offer to the advanced tools which can help businesses in many ways. The training program also offer a Certification to those who complete all the courses and qualify in the final assessment.
