109 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus In Udupi District
Udupi: 109 Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Udupi district on July 18, taking the total number of positive cases to 2088.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 492. So far, 1586 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and nine persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the district.
As of now, 537 swab samples are pending for results, and 524 samples were sent for testing on Saturday. 292 samples have tested negative on Saturday , while a total of 21757 swab samples out of the 24382 samples have tested negative for the coronavirus.
All the 109 persons are shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
