11–year-old Girl Killed in Truck – Bike Collision

Udupi: An 11–year-old girl was killed after a truck collided into a motorbike on NH 66 near Katapadi here on Sunday, September 10.

The deceased pillion rider has been identified as Sushmitha (11), a resident of Kateel.

According to the police, the girl along with her relative was travelling on a motorbike. From Kateel, they were going to their relative’s house in Udyavar. A truck moving in the same direction hit the bike from behind throwing the bike rider and the pillion to the road. Pillion rider Sushmitha died on the spot.

The Kaup Police have registered the case.
