113 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in Udupi District on September 7
Udupi: According to the district health bulletin, 113 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Udupi on September 7 taking the total number of positive cases in the district to 12840 .
Among the 113 new cases, 64 are from Udupi, 36 from Kundapur, 5 from Karkala, and 8 from outside the district.
As of now, 191 throat swab samples are pending for results, 236 samples were sent for testing on September 7 and 282 samples were tested negative. A total of 65034 swab samples out of the 78065 have tested negative for the coronavirus.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 1780. So far, 10946 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and 114 persons have succumbed to COVID-19.
