119 Persons Test Positive and 8 Die Of COVID-19 in DK on July 27
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 119 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus and eight persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on July 27.
Out of the 119 positive cases, forty-six persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts. Thirty-four persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and six persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of thirty-three others.
All the 119 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, 80 persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
