12-year-old Student Dies of Dengue Fever
Mangaluru: A 7th standard student from a reputed school died of dengue fever here on July 19.
The deceased has been identified as Shraddha Shetty (12), a resident of Jeppu, Morgansgate.
She was studying in a reputed school in Jeppu.
Shraddha along with her sister was admitted to the hospital with dengue fever. Shraddha’s sister responded well to the treatment and was discharged from the hospital. But Shraddha without responding to treatment died in the hospital.
Dengue and Malaria are rampant in Dakshina Kannada and the District administration has taken all the measures to control it. People are requested to join hands with the administration to bring Dengue and Malaria fever under control.
