134 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in Udupi District on July 19
Udupi: 134 Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Udupi district on July 19, taking the total number of positive cases to 2222.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 584. So far, 1628 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and 11 persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the district.
As of now, 509 throat swab samples are pending for results, 455 samples were sent for testing on July 18. On Sunday, July 19, 349 samples have tested negative. As of now, a total of 22106 swab samples out of the 24837 have tested negative for the coronavirus.
All the 134 persons are shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
