139 Persons Test Positive and 6 Die Of COVID-19 in DK
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 139persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus, and six persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on August 1.
Out of the 139 cases tested positive, 91 persons are from Mangaluru, 19 from Bantwal, 14 from Belthangady, 6 from Puttur, and 6 from other districts.
So far 5852 positive cases have been reported in the district, and 159 of them have died of the disease.
All the 139 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, fifty-four persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
