15 witnesses identify Aditya Rao
Mangaluru: All the 15 witnesses including the autorickshaw driver, barber, security guard identified Aditya Rao as having planted the bomb at Mangalore International Airport (MIA) on January 19. The witness parade was held inside the district jail premises on Tuesday.
The witness parade was conducted on the request of investigating officer Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) K U Belliappa.
The first witness parade had to be cancelled as Aditya Rao was bed-ridden with Malaria. Mangaluru Taluk Magistrate and Tahasildar T G Guruprasad who conducted the witness parade is expected to submit a report to the court by the end of this week.
