15-year-old student crushed to death under Sand-laden Truck
Udupi: A 15-year-old student died on the spot when he came under the wheels of a sand-laden truck on NH 66 near Brahmavar here on Tuesday, October 3.
The deceased has been identified as Anish (15) a resident of Barkur. Anish was a student of SMS College. Brahmavar.
According to PSI Madhu Brahmavar, Anish had alighted from the bus and was going to the college to attend the tuition class. As he was trying to cross the road in front of the SMS Church, a sand-laden truck coming from Brahmavar hit Anish. As Anish fell to the road, he was run over by the same truck and died on the spot.
A case has been registered in the Brahmavar Police Station.
