Arif president of the Team condemned the incident and said that Udupi district has a good name for communal diversity. People of all religions are living together without any problems but some antisocial elements are trying to break the Unity of the people of Udupi. Pejwara Swamiji is not only the religious leader for Hindus but he is also a leader for all religions. He has helped the Muslim community during the time of Tsunami in Tamilandu. He also demanded the concerned Police Authorities to take action against the culprit.

Nabil, Nazeer, Akthar and others were present.

A Facebook page created by a person claiming to be Abdul Salam published a defamatory post on November 23. After the defamatory post was published the Paryaya Swagatha Samiti approached the Superintendent of Police Annamalai and complained about the threat on Facebook.

The post appeared after Pejawar Swamiji’s statement during VHP leader Ashok Singhal’s tribute programme, which was held on Sunday at Udupi, that constructing Ram Mandir in Ayodhya would be a real tribute to the late VHP leader Ashok Singhal.

I truly appreciate these guys for showing the real courage to do the right thing. We need more people like these on all sides. On a side note, look how many people protesting – 8 folks. Yes, just 8 people protesting!! This is exactly the problem with this community – Be it in Mangaluru or New York. They show up in thousands and thousands to support religious ideas. They come out in thousands to deceive people on how ‘ISIS’ has nothing to do with religion even though ‘I’ stands for Islam and every member in the group can’t complete a… Read more »

Dear readers, Well only Kavi thread in the hands and saffron outfit with big Tilak is missing. Pejawar is the senior most religious figure in this region. He suppose to be the spiritual guide for the misguided young youths in his society.Unfortunately these days he seems to be more interested in politics than the upliftment of society. Recently seer had questioned the chief minister whether he will keep quiet if someone eats pork in front of a masjid or throws slaughtered pig on the premises of a masjid or dargah. How can a real Swamiji speak in such a cheap manner? Swamiji… Read more »

Well, at least 8 people ventured out. Though they are 0.000001% of the entire community, there is some reason to to be optimistic that there are good people!

I find it hard to believe a genuine Muslim would dare to use Facebook as a medium to deliver threat to a high profile seer. Could it be someone using a fake Muslim name to muddy the waters perhaps? Pejavar has a lot of foes in his own neighbourhood and they are not from other religions. He has been trying for ages to make the Krishna Mutt region a business-free district. But as you know, there are almost 100 shops which are attached to the toilet outlet of each of the Mutts which the seers have been finding it hard… Read more »

“Could it be someone using a fake Muslim name to muddy the waters perhaps?” wonders James(Bond) from Beef Club who ends his post with a cautionary line – “One shouldn’t go too far to connect the dots” !!! I love how he tells everyone not to connect dots after doing exactly the same by speculating a link between some shop owners in Udupi and facebook post!!! LOL Isn’t it amazing how ‘Beef Club’ smears and attacks sanaathana groups even in the absence of any specific data? On the other hand, this group won’t even utter a word when you present… Read more »
