Udupi: A 20-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in Padubelle on Monday, December 7.
The deceased has been identified as Linton Menezes, a student of a college in Shirva.
According to the police, Linton was suffering from depression and was under medication. Prolonged illness may have led him to take the extreme step. Linton committed suicide by hanging to the roof of his house.
A case has been registered in the Shirva Police Station.
