169 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in Udupi District on September 12
Udupi: According to the district health bulletin, 169 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Udupi on September 12 taking the total number of positive cases in the district to 13912.
Among the 169 new cases, 95 are from Udupi, 47 from Kundapur, 22 from Karkala, and 5 from other districts.
As of now, 451 throat swab samples are pending for results, 1125 samples were sent for testing on September 12 and 915 samples were tested negative. A total of 69710 swab samples out of the 84073 have tested negative for the coronavirus.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 1760. So far, 12022 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and 130 persons have succumbed to COVID-19.
