Udupi: Miscreants damaged the CCTV Camara and tried to break open the Panchayat office in Saligrama here on Monday late night.
The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when the Panchayat officials came to office. The officials noticed the damage done to the Panchayat office CCTV camera and the Panchayat chief officer Shriapd Bhat immediately informed the police officials about it.
The action of miscreants were recorded by the CCTV cameras. On basis of the CCTV footage the Police have taken a person into custody and investigation is on.
A case has been registered in the Kota Police Station.
