18-year-old Missing Coronavirus Positive Patient Found
Mangaluru: The Pandeshwar police have traced the 18-year-old coronavirus positive patient who had escaped on July 5 from the Wenlock COVID hospital, near Rao and Rao circle, here on July 6.
On July 1, Devaraj (18) who was suffering from coronavirus symptoms had voluntarily gone to the Wenlock hospital. He was treated in the hospital, and on July 5, he was tested positive for the coronavirus.
As soon as he was tested positive for the coronavirus, at around 4:00 pm, Devaraj escaped from the hospital. In this regard, a case was registered in the Pandeshwar police station.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar and under the guidance of Pandeshwar Police Inspector and PSI Rajendra, the operation was carried out by the police constables Shankarappa Lamani, Laxman and Krishnappa Nandiyal traced Devaraj.
Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar commended the constables for their commendable job in tracing the coronavirus infected patient within 24 hours.
